We are now recruiting for our next Spear programme, which starts on Wednesday 10th May. If you are familiar with what we do, you will know this is a unique programme which uses a coaching approach to upskill young people in employment skills such as interview technique, CV and job application writing and professionalism, so that by the end of Spear Foundation, we are confident that each young person is ready for the world of work.
Above all, we believe change begins with our mindset, and so we focus on empowering young people with mindsets that will impact them not only during Spear, but long after we have finishing working with them. One young person said at our last Celebration event that ‘I learned to take action, how to speak for myself… and can tell everyone who told me I wasn’t worthy, “look where I am now; I did it.”‘

The criteria for signing up to Spear are:
– Between 16 and 24 years old;
– NEET (not employed, in education or training)
– Available 4 days a week for the next 6 weeks
