Hospice Gardener – St Peter’s Hospice, Brentry
St Peter’s Hospice provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting condition in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area.
We are looking for someone with the passion and professionalism to take on the role of full-time Gardener for the Hospice; this would be a perfect role for a skilled gardener who wants to work with an element of personal autonomy to take up the challenge of maintaining a mature set of gardens and to then develop them further to meet the needs of the Hospice, stakeholders and service users.
The Gardener will work alongside volunteers and corporate groups to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained which will safeguard the hospice environment. The role encompasses seasonal planning, gardening, and planting plus installing and maintaining the flowers, plants, trees, and green spaces at the Hospice.
What we can offer you:
- Working hours are 37.5 per week, 5 in 7 days (flexible)
- Salary up to £25,946 per year, dependant on experience
- Permanent position
