Creative Youth Network is running various courses for young people aged 16-25 in Bristol who are struggling with education, employment or training between April 2024 and March 2025. These courses are funded by the West of England Combined Authority’s Mayoral Priority Skills Fund in partnership with Weston College Moving Up and Bristol City Council HYPE. All of our courses are rooted in Youth Work and Creativity, giving young people the chance to have 1-2-1 mentoring with a Youth Worker, as well as access to inspiring activities led by a Creative Practitioner. The sessions aim to help young people develop their skills, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to overcome any barriers they may be facing.
Our courses include:
- 10 week courses for 16-25 year olds starting with 1-2-1 work, then moving into small group (max. 8 young people) sessions at The Station BS1. These run from May – July 2024, September – November 2024 and January – March 2025
- A course of 12 x 1-2-1 sessions to support young people to take their next steps, starting at any time between April 2024 and February 2025
- 16 session courses starting with 1-2-1 work, then moving into small group (max. 8 young people) sessions at The Station BS1. These run from April – June 2024, September – November 2024 and January – March 2025
