Enviro Landscape Group: Full and Part Time Opportunities!

Yellow Helmet, Boots and Ear Defenders

Enviro Landscape Group

We have a number of exciting full and part time opportunities from grounds maintenance operatives to experienced grounds maintenance team leaders to join our rapidly growing team.

Our work predominantly involves Grounds Maintenance and Tree Surgery. We are based in Long Ashton but we work at sites across Bristol, Bath, South Wales, Gloucester and beyond.

A typical day with us involves working outside in all weathers, completing a variety of tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, hand weeding, litter picking, leaf collection, pruning shrubs and removing brambles and dead plants. As we use a variety of petrol and battery powered tools and are on our feet all day we look for candidates who are able and physically fit enough to conduct these kinds of tasks.

We are looking at ways we can give possible candidates a taste of the kind of work we do in an informal session – for example through a work experience/volunteering session of a couple of hours.

For anyone who shows real interest/passion for this kind of work we would then look to do our normal recruitment practice – which is to bring them in for a paid real-life work trial. We are keen to promote this opportunity, but also to discuss with employment programmes to get an idea of what interest there might be – as we could run these work experience sessions in a group format or 1-2-1 depending on the level of interest.
