The Digital Edge Programme, delivered in partnership with Microsoft, aims to help people between 18 and 45 into the Tech industry.
The programme runs for 2 days a week for 4 weeks and is done completely remotely using Microsoft Teams. After completing the programme, they will then have access to 1-2-1 career coaching and in work support once they find employment.
Over the 4-week programme, the cohort will get vital employability skills training, get insight into the digital and technology sector whilst doing practical activities and gain confidence in applying for digital apprenticeships or entry level IT roles, with the view of launching their career.
Digital Edge covers the different type of tech roles available in the industry, the different tech jargon terms, how to tailor a cover letter and CV to these specific positions and we even do group projects with Microsoft. Alongside our facilitators we do have guest speakers from Tech Apprenticeships providers, and Microsoft staff also speak to the group about the tech industry.
