Serco have recently been awarded funding to deliver the Department for Education (DFE) Skills Bootcamps in Digital. We have funding for unemployed, employed and looking for a career change and for employers to up skill their current staff.
We have courses starting as soon as next week and we are keen to get as many learners onboarded as possible. We are currently offering courses in three key digital areas:
· Digital Marketing
· Data Management
· Digital Support (Cloud)
Courses are delivered online over 16 weeks; this is split over either two mornings or two afternoons a week. We have courses starting at different intervals between now & November, with all courses completed by mid-March 2024.
For unemployed learners we will also be arranging a guaranteed job interview for them upon completion.

This Skills Bootcamps programme is for employees who wish to gain an understanding of the knowledge and skills required to work in the digital Marketing sector.

Data Management
This Skills Bootcamps programme is for employees who wish to gain an understanding of the knowledge and skills required for a job role within the digital workforce area, such as a data technician.
- Understand how to source data
- Collate and format data for processing and analysis
- Analyse data to support business outcomes
- Data Security and Compliance
- Present and communicate data to a designated audience
- Store, manage and distribute data securely
- Role of data within a business context
Digital Support (Cloud)
This Skills Bootcamps programme is for employees who wish to gain an understanding of the knowledge and skills required to work in the digital support sector.
- Working in the digital support sector
- Network infrastructure
- Cloud services
- Data management
- Digital security
- Supporting digital services
- Supporting software maintenance
- Additional learning, this Programme includes the opportunity to choose certification in one of the following specialist pathways: Data Services, Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure), Cloud Services (Amazon AWS) or Modern Desktop.
