When: Every Wednesday 10.00am – 2.15pm, from 30.04.25 until 03.12.25.
Where: Blaise Plant Nursery, Kings Weston Road, BS11 0XF.
(Please note this course will break on July 23rd for summer and resume on Sept 3rd).
Learning outcomes:
| Be able to prepare and plant leaf and/or stem cuttings. |
| Be able to prepare rootstock and scion material and be able to graft. |
| Be able to sow seeds outdoors by hand. |
| Be able to prune free standing fruit trees in winter. Propagate plants by vegetative methods (cuttings and grafting) Select and use the correct tools and equipment. Implement health & safety procedures at work. |
