An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Avon Fire and Rescue Service as a Senior Administrative Assistant within our Business Fire Safety (BFS) Department.  The Senior Administrative Assistant will work directly with the Business Fire Safety Manager and their staff, providing administrative support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administrating sensitive and confidential materials relating to potential prosecutions conducted by BFS in relation to the Fire Safety Order 2005.  The successful candidate will also be required to support the Disclosure Officer, in regards to providing the relevant accurate information.

If successful, you will take ownership of continuous improvement and developments of the administrative processes.  You will also be responsible of the day to day operations of all Technical Fire Safety administrative procedures and systems, including allocating operational fire safety checks to crews and liaising with members of the public to arrange inspections.

The Senior Administrative Assistant will need to possess effective communication skills and will need to work collaboratively alongside internal and external customers.

There is also a requirement to hold a Full UK driving licence.

We also require the successful candidate to possess general administrative experience (including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages) then this could be the new opportunity which you are awaiting for.
