ACH has partnered with the Pret Foundation to offer a weeklong training programme for refugees and migrants with guaranteed 12-week paid placements (£11.50 an hour) upon completion of the programme.
Information on programme is as follows:
- 1 week training programme running from 25th – 29th November covering:
- Customer service skills
- Health and safety essentials
- UK employment rights
- Preparation for 12-week placements at 5 Pret a Manger stores in Bristol including; Baldwin St, Queens Road, Victoria St, Cabot Circus and Cribbs Causeway
- Upon completion of the programme, candidates will move into 12-week paid placements in a store that we match them with.
This programme is for refugees and migrants with refugee status and/or the right to work and have Entry Level 3 English. Please note, that we have 6 places on the programme, so we ask that candidates apply via the form (in poster attached) or email myself at julia.dixon-barrow@ach.org.uk . Individuals will be invited for a recruitment day on the 13th November where the 6 candidates will be selected. No previous experience required, just the right attitude and aspiration to work in hospitality sector
