Ways2Work + One Front Door November update

Hi,

Hope you’re well. Here’s a quick update of events going on in the world of Ways2Work and One Front Door this month.

Jobs Fairs this Month

For more information about the two Broadmead jobs fairs, please contact onefrontdoor. The others are not our events, but they will still be useful for jobseekers.

Also this month, the Ways2Work network meeting is on 24 November, 10-12 on Microsoft Teams. Come along to find out what training and support provision you can refer to or who may be able to refer to you. So far we have booked speakers from DWP, SGS College and Serco.

Register your spot here.

To find out about more courses and training opportunities from providers across Bristol happening this month, check out the One Front Door calendar. If you’d like your events publicised here, send details to us as an email to the Ways2Work network and we’ll send them as an email to the network and add them to the calendar too. Please make sure to include the contact information you would like people to use to refer, apply or use to ask questions.

Finally, if you have a few minutes to spare, please could you use them to let us know how you feel about the service that Ways2Work provides on our short feedback survey. (closes 22 November)

It’s important for us to know what we’re doing well and how we could improve. Especially with the council seeking resident’s views on budget savings: Bristol unveils 2022-23 budget plans – bristol.gov.uk. Consultation begins 5 November.

Happy November!

Lucy
