Hello,

Spear works with NEET 16-24 year olds supports them back into sustainable work or education. Our programme is specifically designed for young people facing multiple challenges in their lives, including challenges with mental health, low educational attainment, low confidence and self-esteem, housing support or a background in crime. We offer a one-year programme, starting with an initial six weeks followed by a year of follow up support. During these first 6 weeks we have a combination of 1-1’s and groups sessions where we provide the practical things needed for work, CV’s, Cover Letters and Interview practice as well as coaching young people around mindsets and mentalities which may be preventing them from getting into work or education. Our website for more information is: Spear Programme | Resurgo.

I have attached our leaflet (for young people) and also our Referrer Information Pack (for anyone working with young people for more information)

Referral Criteria:

  • 16-24 Years Old
  • Not engaging with Education, Employment or Training
  • Able to commit to 4 sessions a week for 6 weeks

To Refer a Young Person

  • Email myself at Isabel.thompson or call 07840 527336

Our next programme start date is Tuesday 11th January and located in Christ Church Building, Clifton Down Road, Bristol, BS8 3BN. We prioritise building relationships with the young person before the programme starts so the sooner the better to refer so we can book in an initial meeting so we can meet them and show them the centre!

Kindest regards,

Izzie Thompson
