To whom may concern:
We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to deliver Construction/CSCS card courses in the West of England area. Our funding partner, Dimensions Training Solutions, will be offering these courses on a direct delivery basis in the Bristol WOE area from the 17th of this month, as a result the decision has been taken by DTS to curtail some of our provision. This information was conveyed to us at very short notice, it in no way reflects upon our performance, rather it reflects the strategic direction of the ESFA (Education Skills Funding Agency). We are still permitted to offer a range of other short courses through our Dimensions Training Services contract and in the weeks prior to Christmas were discussing additional contracts with them.
As you would expect we have attempted to find alternative funding to deliver training to those people you have referred to us. Unfortunately, we have been unable to do so. We will contact those people separately and ask them to contact their referrers to arrange alternative provision. It would not be appropriate under GDPR to forward their details elsewhere.
All of us are very sorry to do this to you and your customers. We are very unhappy with both the manner in which this was done and the timescales we were forced to comply with.
Our commitment to fund CSCS tests and cards and support those customers that have already completed a course with us remains, and we are grateful to you all for your support in the West of England area over the years.
