Hello amazing partner projects,
We have a few opportunities going at the Farm which may be of interest to yourselves or the groups/communities you work with. Please share with people who this is relevant to.
Thank you so much
Apply for a Community Plot
🌱 There’s a very long waiting list — 6 years — to have an allotment at the Farm, so we’re creating a ‘Community Plot’ for local community groups interested in enabling more people to access land and grow food.
👉 Find out more HERE -> https://www.swcityfarm.co.uk/communityplot
ℹ️ The closing date for applications is Monday October 11th by noon -> https://www.swcityfarm.co.uk/about/blog/2021/09/09/calling-community-groups-apply-for-an-allotment-plot/
🐌 We’re looking for up to three Land Management and Maintenance Workers to join us as part of the government Kickstart scheme!
🌱 Help us take care and develop 18 acres of urban green space, including the Farm, the Community Garden on Mina Road, Boiling Wells woodland and the community Allotments. You’ll work within a team that undertakes land management, conservation, and maintenance tasks to ensure that our sites are well maintained, accessible and safe for our beneficiaries and the wider community to access.
ℹ️ If you’re between 16 – 24 years and on #universalcredit, this might be what you’re looking for -> www.swcityfarm.co.uk/jobs
