Please find attached the latest Employer Vacancies list for NTA Traineeship work placements for July 2022!
Withdrawal of remote work placements
In a recent EFSA update there has been clarification given on work placements – the work experience placement should be with an external employer at their premises and face to face. It goes on to say that this will be fully enforced from the 1 August 2022.
To fully comply with this update, we have withdrawn all remote placements from our vacancy lists.
All our NTA learners signed up on remote placements, mainly within the digital sector, have been assured work placements.
If these take place after 1st August, our remote employers have pledged to find and if necessary, rent office space for the placement to take place. Most of our employers offering remote work placements do so because all their workforce are home based and they don’t have standard offices.
Going forward we’re working with our employers, who offered remote placements, to ensure a complaint offer within these new terms are available.
Remember BHF – no offer close to your young person? If there is a British Heart Foundation shop or furniture store close by, they may be able to help. Contact me for further details.
To recap Traineeships are open to:
- 16- to 24-year-olds (and 25-year-olds with EHCP – Education & Health Care Plan)
- NEETs – Not in Employment, Education or Training
- Those with qualifications up to a level 3 (A level)
I’ve also attached the NTA Traineeship brochure for students.
Please feel free to share the information with your contacts
