Get To Know Your Laptop (particularly for 50 plus age group)
As part of the BCC Digital Inclusion project, learners will be able to get a refurbished laptop (and a mifi/with data device if available) – and get support to get started and learn some new digital skills.
Avonmouth Community Centre, starts Tuesday 22nd March, 10-12, for 4 sessions.
Gain accreditation with Acorn Safety Training, a theory- based and practical 6 hour accredited course. Free first aid manual with the course.
Henbury and Brentry Community Centre, on Friday 1st April, 9.30-4.30pm.
Brush Up Your English for Work
A course to help adults improve their English skills for work/finding employment. This is not an ESOL course but suitable for adults with Entry Level 3 plus English and who haven’t got a GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent.
Long Cross Children’s Centre. Assessment and Information/Enrolment sessions on Monday 25th April, 1-3pm, followed by 9 week course from 16th May to 18th July.
