Future Bright has helped over 2,000 local people with one-to-one support from a professional career coach. Over 1,000 of those have entered training and at least 600 have increased their income.
Now the West of England Combined Authority funds Future Bright to ensure that the region’s residents have opportunities to develop the skills to progress and the skills that our businesses and employers need, now, and into the future. And to make sure that Future Bright can support those who need it most, the scheme has recently been expanded to those aged 18 and over and to those who are earning below the real living wage.
“It really has helped me become more proactive and I am so excited about what comes next. It’s entirely up to me what I do but I feel I have the tools to really go for it now.”
Christopher, an actor from Bristol
Future Bright is available to anyone age 18 and over in paid work (including part-time, zero hours and self-employed) and receiving benefits or earning below the real living wage.
