Free land skills and nature based wellbeing sessions for 16-25 year olds with the Birch Collective

From: Ro Fry <ro@thebirchcollective.co.uk>

Hi there,

I am emailing from The Birch Collective and we work with 16-25 year olds in nature; giving space to slow down, build community and learn practical land skills and crafts together. We offer free weekly free land skills and nature based wellbeing sessions called Fresh Air Thursdays.

These easy-going sessions are for 16-25 year olds and offer a mix of practical and seasonal tasks, alongside relaxing and chatting by the fire. We will do activities such as simple woodwork, gardening for wildlife, food growing, tree care and natural craft such as willow weaving and clay.

It happens at Strawberry Lane Community Garden in St George on Thursdays from 1-5pm.

We have been operating for just over a year and have worked with around 80 young people through various nature based projects. We are currently getting referrals from lots of organisations around Bristol including 16-25 Independent People and St Werburghs City Farm.

Always very happy to have a chat about our project and see if there are any ways we could link up or work together.

I have popped a link to our poster for the session below.

All the best,

Ro
