The Project

Starting January 2021, WE WORK for Everyone will work with 2,444 people with a learning difficulty to raise their skills and aspirations, move them forward in their employment journey and support them into work by ensuring their own and their employer’s needs are met. Each participant will be supported by a Navigator on a 1 to 1 basis to identity suitable career pathways and they will link with specialist local provision to signpost them to the right service for them.

The programme will identify and embed models of effective practice within supported employment, raising employers’ awareness of the contributions which people with learning difficulties can make to their workforce. It will develop a Quality Standards and Commissioning framework for specialist employment support in the West of England creating a sustainable legacy for the region.
