This FREE online course will equip you with a number of useful and easy techniques to help with anxiety and stay calm during periods of stress and difficulty.
It will be delivered flexibly via a mix of live video chat (every Wednesday 10.30-11.30am for 6 weeks from 23/09/2020) and online resources using Google Classroom which you will be able to access at any time and will be updated weekly.
Learning outcomes include:
- you will try mindfulness, breathing and grounding techniques
- you will look into gratitude practice and other ways to be able to frame things positively
- you will understand basic CBT and ACT methods for tackling negative thinking
- you will explore how you can best look after yourself at times of stress, in a variety of interesting and accessible ways
