This week Yes published its Autumn Term Adult Learning Programme for 19+ year olds.
I am pleased to confirm that we are also continuing to run our successful English and Maths programmes for 16-25 year olds. Classes start in our first week back, September 6th 2021 and run throughout the year, term time only.
These are small, friendly classes held weekly at our classroom in Old Market. Learners can join at any time in the year and choose whether they want to attend with an objective of building confidence and skills without sitting exams and/or study towards functional skills, taking exams only when they are ready. For 16-25 year olds accessing this programme, Yes offers Functional Skills English and Maths from Entry Level up to Level 2.
Our experienced and qualified Tutors provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment and will work with each learner and their Support Worker/Referrer to ensure individual learning needs and objectives are identified and worked towards.
How to join?
From September Yes will be offering welcome sessions every Wednesday afternoon where prospective learners and their Support Worker/Referrer (where applicable) can visit the space, meet Tutors and further discuss learning objectives and the best pathway towards for them. There is no pressure on young people to join a Yes class at this stage; Yes works with young people at their own pace.
If you would like to book an appointment at a Wednesday Welcome Session please get in touch at any time in the year via email or telephone.
1 to 1 Tutoring
Should you have funding in place or looking to secure some, Yes can also work with you to provide bespoke 1 to 1 learning programmes. We can deliver these at Yes or in the community in the Bristol area. Please do contact us to discuss further.
We look forward to hearing from you
