BITC Job Coaching – Referrals Needed!

Hello from the BITC team!

Hope this email finds you well! It’s nearly the weekend, so we are sending a little update on the progress of our Job Coaching programme. The below figures will reflect the number of referrals we have received on our new way of working, using our interactive platform: https://bitcjobcoaching.onpld.com/ and we are continuing to call out for jobseekers to join our programme.

REFERRALS NEEDED! Coaches waiting to offer their support and help people into jobs!

A reminder of what we are trying to achieve with this programme:

  • Support 10,000 jobseekers through:
    • Essential and digital skills
    • Improved chances of a successful job outcome – by increasing knowledge of the job market and building core employability skills
    • Enhanced wellbeing and resilience – helping them to stay positive and connected to the world of work
  • Challenge the current recruitment market and enable our business volunteers to understand what their businesses can do differently to support jobseekers.

As you can see, building back momentum has been slow, so can I please ask that you share this email with your wider teams and encourage them to refer. We are now operating in 7 areas, so please look into your caseloads and refer using the link in above (also present in the attached collateral).

Some snippets from our focus groups and feedback forms can be found below, which illustrate the impact our programme has had on our joint clients. It’s great to see the positivity and successes coming out of the coaching sessions and we would like to build on this and grow the client pool as soon as possible, to enable us to continue our work.
