Babbasa: OurCity2030 – Lets close the inequality gap together!

From: Babbasa <admin@byep.org.uk>
Sent via Ways2Work

Friends and Colleagues,

We know how difficult the pandemic has been over the last couple of years. We know how difficult the future looks for young people in our communities. But we also know young people deserve better.

BE PART OF THE CHANGE

Babbasa in partnership with OurCity2030 partners are working together to capture the post-COVID needs and aspirations of Bristol’s young people in an exciting research project that we want you to be part of and support us with.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

We are asking you to encourage young people (14-25) that you know or engage with, to complete this short 3-5min survey HERE.

You can forward the survey link to your young people mailing list and/or share on your social media page. We can also attend or facilitate a session to help your young people complete the survey if required. Young people who complete the survey will be entered in a draw for a FREE £20 Cabot Circus shopping voucher for those willing to provide their personal details in the survey!

HOW DOES GETTING INVOLVED BENEFIT US?

We believe it takes a village to raise a child. So as a valuable VCSE/community member, we hope to share the findings with you to help with decision making for services, funding, referrals and collaborations. We will also want to understand how we can work with you going forward to break the cycle of inequality, deprivation and hardship for young people and local families in Bristol.

WHAT NEXT?

We hope to work with you to complete this survey by the 16th May. We invite you to our upcoming community mixer on Friday 29th of April 3pm-5pm at Easton Community Centre, Kilburn St, Easton, Bristol BS5 6AW, to further understand your views and insights on the subject matter. To find out about immediate opportunities for your young people, please visit the websitehere.

You can call us on 0117 924 1707 / 07907461793 if you have any questions or want to discuss how we can be collaborating together. My name is Vanessa, Babbasa Outreach Lead and I look forward to working with you.

Hope the email finds you well.

Best Wishes,

Vanessa Lerbs
